This week in 24/Seven

Each week we'll preview what you can expect in our 24/Seven print edition, out Thursday for you southern Brooklynites and Friday for the downtown neighborhoods.

Highlights include:

The Circus: There's a new game in town. Starting July 27, the Cole Bros. Circus comes to Aviator, bringing with it elephants, acrobats, camels, jugglers, and The Human Cannonball.

Games: Put your Battle Ship and Jenga skills to the test at the Board Game Olympics, July 27 at Union Hall in Park Slope.

Columns: Pumps & Pleats checks out Brooklyn Industries in Carroll Gardens, while homemade shakes make The Kichen Klutz happy and chicken cacciatore is on The Reporter's Table.

Music: Canarsie's Tom Moran, aka Dadddy Rocker, comes to his usual hang, Vox Pop in Flatbush, July 31, and Brooklyn indie rockers Xylos dish on their forthcoming debut album. They take time out of the studio for a show July 28 at Mercury Lounge.

Books: Where better to celebrate the release of a book about boxing than an actual ring? Gleason's Gym does just that August 8, with a book party for Douglas Century's "Barney Ross."

For these stories and more, pick up a copy in your nabe or check back here later this week!
