No summer of love here

The Woodstock eyed for Prospect Park that was the flurry of the music blogs and newspapers last May is no more.

The New York Times reports via Rolling Stone that one of the original promoters of the 1969 Woodstock is dropping plans due to a lack of promoters.

You can still get your fill of the music event, notes the paper, when "Taking Woodstock," starring Brooklyn's Demitri Martin, opens later this month.
