Each week we'll preview what you can expect in our 24/Seven print edition, out Thursday for you southern Brooklynites and Friday for the downtown neighborhoods.

Highlights include:

Books: Our own Stephen Witt celebrates the publication of his debut novel, American Moses, with a party at Harry O’s located in downtown Brooklyn on August 14.

Music: Check out some of the most exciting music coming out of Brooklyn today when Fiery Furnaces do the Pool Parties August 9 and Amazing Baby play Pier 54 in Manhattan August 13.

Columns: In need of comfort food, look no further than The Reporter Table's recipe for Shedherd's Pie. Looking to spice things up? The Kitchen Klutz serves up Caribbean Mahi-Mahi Tacos. On the street, Pumps & Pleats finds a fashion dreamland at Lola Staar’s Dreamland Boutique on the Coney Island boardwalk.
