This week in 24/Seven

Each week we'll preview what you can expect in our 24/Seven print edition, out Thursday for you southern Brooklynites and Friday for the downtown neighborhoods.

Highlights include:

Theater: "County of Kings," Lemon Andersen's hip-hop memoir, officially opens October 12 at the Public Theater. Get transported to a Brooklyn of or before your time from one of New York's best performance artists.

Music: Out of towners are sure to get things going when San Francisco's The Dodos play Music Hall October 13 and London's "Dark and Deviant" Tiger Lillies come back to St. Ann's Warehouse October 16; see what's on The New Yorker's Brooklyn Playlist with a curated show at the Bell House October 16; and find out what life is like on the road for Brooklyn's punk rockers The So So Glos, who play Knitting Factory October 15.

Columns: The Kitchen Klutz learns from the best when she visits the kitchen of Brad Farmerie, star of the Food Network’s “The Next Iron Chef; relive a bit of summer with a fresh pasta made from the vegetables of late summer, on the Reporter's Table this week; and stock up on shoes at Enzyme Shoelab on Kings Highway, which has everything from boots to ballerina flats.
