Happy Jewltide, y’all!

The nightlife may slow down a bit right up on the holidays, but for those looking to celebrate Hanukkah with a bang this year, look no further than Southpaw.

The Park Slope venue hosts JDub’s seventh annual Jewltide, the destination for those looking to do something beyond the movies, bowling or Chinese food.

Since the first event kicked off six years ago in Brooklyn, where a line formed down Fifth Avenue Christmas Eve night for the sold-out show, Jewltide has remained in New York, with shows at Southpaw and Webster Hall, as well as grown to other cities, including Cleveland, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

For the Brooklyn show, it’s all about funk – Dan Saks (of DeLeon) & The Funkadeli All-Stars will break out a fresh set of funk classics, and New York Night Train’s Mr. Jonathan Toubin will spin a shimmy-worthy mix of maximum rock’n’soul.

It all happens December 24 at 9 p.m. at Southpaw (125 Fifth Ave.). Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. The night will also feature donuts and drink specials. For more information, call 718-230-0236.
