This week in 24/Seven

Each week we'll preview what you can expect in our 24/Seven print edition, out Thursday for you southern Brooklynites and Friday for the downtown neighborhoods.


Highlights include:

Food: Grillin' on the Bay returns to Brooklyn with choice meats prepared by top chefs and backyard barbecuers alike, March 27 at St. Mark School.

Art: Let the music industry have South By Southwest and the CMJ festival. Brooklyn has its own DIY Music Festival for Brooklynites by Brooklynites, March 24 to March 27 at Bushwick Music Studios.

Music: Apollo Sunshine heats things up at Southpaw March 25, while Australia's The Grates bring their punk-pop to Brooklyn Bowl March 27.

Columns: Pumps & Pleats spends an afternoon in the boutiques of Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill, while the Klutz saves some dough with a homemade salad and the Reporter's Table relies on a favorite - shrimp - with an Italian-inspired zucchini dish.
