After rallying for a cabaret license, and facing some opposition from the local community board, which feared the club would increase noise levels in the neighborhood, DUMBO's No. 1 Front Street got the OK today as the Department of Consumer Affairs approved the restaurant's request.

On April 17, you'll have the chance to boogie at the Brooklyn space as it celebrates the opening of its third floor ballroom a night of dinner and dancing. Tickets are $50 for two, and includes a dance lesson.
