Fall into the G Train Salon

The G Train Salon has announced its fall schedule, with a slew of events all across Brooklyn. Here's the release:

Ever since its debut in a living room on Flatbush Avenue, the “G-Train Salon,” has introduced various audiences to emerging artists through conversation and inquiry.

Harnessing the intimacy and accessibility of the salons of yore, this interactive exhibition series continues to thrive on its journey to a variety of offbeat locales throughout Brooklyn – and Queens as of this fall. Each month, we curate a solo exhibition in conjunction with one of our community partners and the featured artist inaugurates the show with an open-ended discussion with the audience. This season, we are thrilled to announce our new partners Trinity Project Brooklyn, a church and artist-run group in Bushwick, Art Connects New York at the Ridgewood Older Adult Center and the Old Stone House, the Battle of Brooklyn site on Fourth Avenue in Park Slope. Our most current schedule is below:

September 8

Jae Hi Ahn @ Urban Alchemist Design Collective (Park Slope)

October 8

Barry Shepherd @ Trinity Church (Bushwick)

November 8

Fanny AlliƩ @ Urban Alchemist Design Collective (Park Slope)

November 2010

Art Connects New York @ Ridgewood Older Adult Center (Queens)
