Check out Super Mirage this Friday

The men of Super Mirage are here to entertain you.

Sure, the pop quartet is big on leaving its record stamp — the band released its debut full-length, “Pretty Lies,” a collection of high-energy, dance-ready indie-pop songs, this past summer — but the live show presents even more possibilities than a said-and-done album.

“We want to make sure that every single show is something unique,” said the band’s Bushwick-based frontman Nathan Leigh.

That’s meant employing the help of burlesque dancers, costumes, backup singers, dancers, and massive horn sections to make each show a theatrical and memorable one.

For the band’s next live act, at Williamsburg’s Trash Bar on Jan. 7, Leigh and crew are still figuring out how they want to top burlesque dancers and brass sections, but rest assured, something memorable is in the works.

“We’re a pop band,” said Leigh. “Our music is intended to be fun, and we want the audience to have fun. That’s the point of seeing us play.”

Super Mirage at Trash Bar [256 Grand St. near Roebling Street in Williamsburg, (718) 599-1000], Jan. 7 at 11 pm. Free. For info, visit www.supermirage.com.
